One day a coworker dropped our trailer somehow, and it was too low to put a dually under, so I tried to sit it on a 1500. It lifted the wheels. We eventually got out a jack to lift it a bit.

The squat is not deterred by the Carolina boundary. The “dog with itchy bum” will one day skidmark itself into neighboring states and, eventually, contiguous regions. The squat has no master. I’ve lived in both Carolinas and no one is innocent.

After my initial disgust I have accepted that it isn’t going away and have thus classed it as a form of donk or stance but for folk that, at least pretend to, deer hunt. I have yet to understand any of these groups but I do respect their enthusiasm. That being said I get a kick out of watching these tail draggers attempt truck things such as towing a boat or hauling lumber.

I’ve never been to South Carolina but I can tell you the Squat is VERY popular on North Carolina. Like you can run to the closest Bojangles without seeing at least one  squated truck or SUV.
